Pastor Raymond was born and raised in Long Beach, CA.
It was at his home church in CA, The Tower of Praise Christian Church, where he felt God’s clear calling into the Gospel Ministry, specifically in pastoring, teaching, and music.
Through various positions within the Church, his calling has been confirmed and strengthened. He has a passion for reaching the lost and edifying the Church through sharing the Good News of Christ’s love for us.
Pastor Raymond was licensed in 2012 at Amazing Love Community Church and ordained in 2015 at First Baptist Church, St. Ann, MO.
While attending Missouri Baptist University, he met his wife, Emma. They married in 2016 and have 3 beautiful children together, Anita, Raymond Jr., and Freda.
Over the years, Pastor Raymond has been blessed to serve at various churches in the St Louis Area in different capacities; such as Youth Ministry, Worship Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, and pulpit supply.
In addition to shepherding Cross Keys, Pastor Raymond is also a classically trained musician and plays a number of instruments. You might see him on drums, bass, or keyboard on Sundays.
